We’ll become a leading youth development program in Colorado by transforming lives through cultural education, creative expression, and entrepreneurship—while building the next generation of confident leaders and skilled professionals in the beauty industry.
Crown Builders Academy was founded by a Colorado salon owner, mentor, and Cultural Anthropology graduate who recognized the power of braiding as more than a skill. Through years of servicing communities in Denver and mentoring young people, she saw an opportunity to create a space where adolescents could develop creativity, confidence, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills while learning the cultural craft of natural hair.
